Michalina is a solicitor at New Media Law, specialising in intellectual property and entertainment law. She joined the firm in May 2021 as a paralegal and has developed broad experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters during her training and since qualifying in 2025. Michalina holds a Master of Law (LLM) in Intellectual Property and Information Law from King's College London, and a First Class Honours LLB in Law from the University of Greenwich.

She advises clients across a variety of areas including Intellectual Property, Entertainment and Media and Commercial Litigation, the diversity of which has allowed her to develop a broad range of legal skills and knowledge which she continues to build on. Michalina advises on all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution, including asset recovery, insolvency and intellectual property disputes, and has developed a strong working knowledge of court procedures including extensive disclosure exercises, case management and enforcement.

On the non-contentious side, Michalina advises clients on entertainment and media matters, including contract negotiation and drafting, rights clearance and exploitation and talent and production agreements. She also advises on trade mark strategy, including clearance searches and registration, helping clients to protect and commercialise their intellectual property.

Michalina is committed to delivering clear, practical advice and is known for her meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage competing demands with composure.

Outside of work, Michalina enjoys running (always training for her next race), following F1 and catching films at her local cinema. When she's not doing any of the above, she's likely being taken for a walk by her energetic pup, Benek.
